Michael L. Cornejo

Michael L. Cornejo, 48, of Methuen, MA, passed away on April 26, 2021, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born on May 23, 1972, in Lawrence, MA, to Nydia Santiago and Luis Washington Cornejo.

Born and raised in the Merrimack Valley area, Michael graduated from Methuen High in 1992. He and his wife met in the 1990s and were married in 2003. Michael was a very outgoing and friendly man, making friends wherever he went. Being the family man that he was, he appreciated and looked forward to gatherings with his loved ones. He was a loving father, husband, uncle and brother. Mikey did all he could for all of those he loved and cherished. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing Keno and drinking a cold tall Coors Light.

Michael will be dearly missed and is survived by his loving wife, Tracy (Schwartz) Cornejo; children, Corina Cornejo of Dracut, MA, Yasmine Cornejo of Methuen, MA, and Michael Cornejo of Methuen, MA; parents, Luis Washington Cornejo and Nydia Santiago; siblings, Ana Cornejo of Derry, NH, Felix Fernandez and his wife Grace, of Haverhill, MA, Jypsy Titone and her husband Derek, of Salem, NH, Alexander Fernandez of Haverhill, MA, Jeanne Abreau and her husband Jose, of Lawrence, MA, Washington Cornejo, Jr. of Lawrence, MA, and John-David Cornejo of Lawrence, MA Evelyn Cornejo of Orlando, FL Cris Cornejo Orlando,FL; stepfather, Felix Fernandez; his two grandchildren, Enzo Paez and Gianna Rodriguez; along with several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, April 30, 2021, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

As of the most recent update, we are able to offer visitation periods and funeral services in the funeral home or at a church.
