Maurice S. Geha

Maurice S. Geha, 81, of Lawrence passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 with his family by his side. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Saiid and Lucy (Mitchell) Geha.

Mr. Geha was raised and educated in Lebanon and worked as a plant supervisor in Saudi Arabia. He immigrated to Lawrence in 1986 for his family’s safety. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed visiting with his son at Sunnyside Diner in Lawrence.

Mr. Geha was predeceased by his siblings, Affif and Joseph Geha, and Mary Azzi.

He is survived by his wife, Leila (Ata) Geha; children, Wissam Geha and his wife Lydia of Lebanon, Bassema Zoghbi and her husband Cheble of FL, Samer Geha and his wife Diana of Methuen, and Samera Ata and her husband Elie of Dracut; brothers, Samih Geha of Lawrence, Michael Geha and his wife Bassema of Haverhill, and Choul Geha of Lebanon; sisters, Leila Elkhoury and her husband George of Lawrence, and Helen Zaarour of CA; grandchildren, Sahar, Samantha, Amanda, Leila, Destiny, Maurice, Mark, Abraham, Najim, and Ayiman. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at St. Anthony Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury Street in Lawrence. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery in Methuen.
