Matthew M. Cheng

Matthew M. Cheng, 69, of Methuen, MA, passed away on September 3, 2022, at Cedar View Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center with his loving wife by his side. He was born on June 21, 1953 in Hong Kong. He leaves his wife of thirty years, Hoi Luong.

He came to the United States in 1991 and worked as an assembler for many years before he retired. Matthew was a great guy and he made friends easily. He enjoyed being around people and was friendly with everyone he met. He will be missed by all of his family and friends. Most of his family is still in Hong Kong and Australia as well.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all of the faculty and staff at Cedar View Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for the great care that they provided for Matthew. They will be missed.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A service will follow at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover.
