MaryAnn J. Palmisano

MaryAnn J. Palmisano, 89, of Methuen, MA, peacefully passed away on September 29, 201 at home, surrounded by her loving famlily. Born on April 7, 1932, she was the daughter to the late Sam and Fillipa (LaScola) Pollizzotti.

Born in Baltimore, MD, MaryAnn moved to the Merrimack Valley area, and attended school at Mount Saint Mary’s. She met the love of her life, Joseph, and they eventually started a family together. She worked for the IRS as a tax auditor for over thirty years. MaryAnn was a hard worker and amazing mother. She loved to cook, bake, and spend time with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, trips to the casino, and spending time at the ocean, especially at her house on Salisbury beach. She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church, and a member of St. Rita’s sodality.

Along with her parents, MaryAnn was pre-deceased by her husband of forty-six years, Joseph Palmisano, and her brother, Charles Pollizzotti.

MaryAnn will be deeply missed and is survived by her children, Anthony Palmisano, and his partner, Corinna Gagnon of Windham, NH, Sam Palmisano of Methuen, MA, John Palmisano of Methuen, MA, and Josephine Palmisano, and her partner, Samantha Randazzo of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Matthew Palmisano, Sam Palmisano, Olivia Palmisano, Amanda Forrestall, Emily Palmisano, and Joseph Palmisano. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made out to St. Alfio Society, 20 Common Street, Lawrence, MA.
