Mary A. (Carroll) Sanzo, 63, of Pelham, NH, formerly of Methuen, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell. She was born in Methuen and was the daughter of the late Charles and Gloria (Ford) Carroll.
Mrs. Sanzo was raised and educated in Lawrence and lived there for the greater part of her life before moving to Methuen. She worked in the medical field as a certified nurse’s aide. Her family was her most prized possession, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, cooking, and most of all spending time with her loved ones.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John R. Sanzo; and brother, Buzzy Carroll.
Mary is survived by her sons, Jeremy J. Sanzo and his wife, Leslie of Tyngsboro, Keith A. Sanzo and his wife, Kendra of Pelham, NH, and Rodney A. Sanzo and his wife, Jenn of Haverhill; brother, John Carroll and his wife, Roz of Haverhill; grandchildren, Spencer, Evelina, Aiden, Ella, Jeremy, Jr., Christian, Devin, Brittany, Zachary, Kaylee, Luca, Novaly, Jonathan, and Topanga. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20th at 9:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
