Mary Rose Coco

Mary Coco, 93, of Methuen passed away peacefully at High Pointe House of Merrimack Valley Hospice, Saturday, September 15, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Born December 22, 1924 in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Coco and Maria Finocchiaro Coco. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School and worked many years for Converse in Andover until its closing. She then worked as an assembler at Digital Equipment Corporation in Salem, NH until her retirement.

Mary enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and quilting. She was a great cook and baker. She did alterations for family and friends and made wedding gowns for some of her nieces.

Sadly, in addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brothers, Rosario Coco and Anthony Coco and baby sister, Santina. She was also predeceased by her brother-in-law, Raymond V. Winning.
She is survived by her sister, Santina R. Winning of Methuen. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Ann Coco; and many loving nieces and nephews.

There will not be calling hours, but family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral mass on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:00 am at Saint Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street in Methuen. Burial will follow at Mary Immaculate Cemetery.
