Mark J. Rudis

Mark J. Rudis, 58, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 10, 2019, at his home. Born in Methuen, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Norma (Hines) Rudis.

Raised and educated in Methuen, Mark was a graduate of Methuen High School, class of 1979. He worked as a limousine driver. He was dedicated to his family and his loved ones. Mark tended to his daughter’s needs first and foremost. His passions in life were simple: he loved his family, most especially being a father, enjoyed sports, most especially the Red Sox, and coaching women’s softball.

Mark was a devoted father who taught his daughter the value of hard work, integrity, family, discipline, friendship, and kindness.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie A. Rudis of Methuen; his three siblings, Gary Rudis and his wife, Linda of Haverhill, Allen Rudis and his wife, Diane of Methuen, and Bruce Rudis and his wife, Noelline of Methuen. In addition, he leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 10:00-12:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel following the calling hours.
