Mark C. Lester

Mark C. Lester, 59, of Salisbury, MA, passed away at Anna Jacques Hospital on October 5, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Dawn (Poirier) Lester. Born on June 22, 1962, he was the son of the late Raymond and Pauline (Klapproth) Lester.

As a real estate appraiser, Mark worked for many years being both self- employed and more recently for the Town of Amesbury. He was a loving father to his three children as well as his nieces and nephews.

Mark had a love for hockey; he enjoyed watching his sons play and even spent time coaching them. He was also a coach in North Andover for several years as well. He enjoyed watching his daughter play lacrosse and was proud of all of them as athletes. In his spare time, he loved going to the beach, especially Old Orchard, where he spent time with his family. You could also find him at the track in Rockingham watching the horses race.

In addition to his wife, Dawn, Mark will be greatly missed by his children, Alex, Eric, and Lori Lester of Methuen, MA; his sisters, Linda Bournazian and her husband Steve of Bellingham, MA, Donna Freeman and her husband Ken of Georgia; his brother, Scott Lester and his wife Kim of Bellingham, MA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and nineteen great-nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. Burial will be private.
