Marie Ann Dale

Marie “Mary” Ann Dale, 88, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2021 at Academy Manor in Andover, MA, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Alfio and Emily (Somma) Guglielmino.

Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, Marie graduated from high school and started her career at Lucent Technologies. She was a hard-working, family-oriented woman who always looked forward to spending time with her loved ones. Marie was an avid church-goer and loved to sing in the church choir. She loved to travel around the world with her husband Warren and spent countless hours in the kitchen cooking amazing meals for her family.

Along with her parents, Marie is pre-deceased by her husband, Warren Dale, her first husband, Mike Assad, and her sister, Nancy Scandura.

Marie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children; Debra Fecteau and her husband Kenneth of Pittsfield, MA, Gail Marshall of Methuen, MA, Susan Rocheleau and her husband Joseph of Clifton Park, NY, Michael Assad of Texas, and Jerry Dale of Amesbury, MA. She is also survived by her brother, Peter Williams; grandchildren, Jessie Marshall, Brian Marshall, Ryan Rocheleau, Angela Rocheleau, Curtis Fecteau, and Madeline Assad; great-grandchildren, Madison Marshall, Nadia Rocheleau, Adalia Marshall, Riley Marshall, and Elizabeth Marshall, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Academy Manor in Andover for the exceptional and compassionate care she received during her stay.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Cataudella Funeral Home in Methuen. A funeral mass will take place at 11:00 AM on September 10, 2021, at St. Lucy Church in Methuen. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
