Maria (Alon) Pepin, 55, of Methuen, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was born on April 14, 1965 in Havana, Cuba to Pedro and Nancy (Cheong) Alon.

As a food director, Maria worked for Edgewood Retirement Community in Andover, MA. She always tended to her family’s needs first and foremost. She was dedicated to them and her loved ones.

Maria is survived by her husband, Rafael E. Pepin of Methuen; her children, Maria Santiago, Steven Santiago, and Pedro Santiago; siblings, cousins, extended family, and many friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. The family respectfully requests that all attendees follow current Covid-19 guidance, including face coverings and social distancing.
