Maria P. Consentino

Maria P. Consentino, 92, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020, at Wingate Nursing Home in Haverhill, MA. She was the daughter of the late Elena (Mastroluca) and Nicodemo Razza.

Born, raised, and educated in Lawrence, MA, Maria attended Lawrence High School. After working as a seamstress at Anton’s Cleaners in Methuen for seven years, she also dedicated several years as a personal care attendant for Nursing Services Inc. of Methuen.

An avid parishioner at St. Lucy Church, Maria was also a proud member of St. Lucy Sodality. A caring woman, she volunteered at Dolls for Dolls for infants with AIDS in North Andover, MA. She found great joy in dancing, shopping, baking, doing crafts, playing Bingo, planting flowers, and sewing and alterations.

She is predeceased by her brothers, James Razza, Alfred Razza and Anthony Razza.

Maria is survived by her loving children, Luann Consentino of Atkinson, NH, David Consentino of Colorado, Gary Consentino of Derry, NH, and Philip Consentino of Haverhill, MA; her two sisters, Edith Szegedy of Methuen, MA and Julia Thomas of Salem, NH; along with her two grandchildren.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, all services and burial will be private with the assistance of Cataudella Funeral Home in Methuen.
