Manuella Centola

Manuella Centola, 102, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2022. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Pasquale Centola. Born on February 18, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Rossetti) Martini.

Widowed at the age of 50, Manuella devoted her life to her family. She loved spending time with her brothers and sisters, children, and grandchildren and she rarely missed a family event. 

"Ann” was an avid walker and loved to travel to visit her family until her mid-90s. She loved her children and grandchildren so very much. Her constant companion was her religion. She devotedly watched Catholic Television and spent many hours praying for us all - family and friends - her rosary beads were never out of reach.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Camposano and her husband Paul of Naples, FL, Lucy Richardson and her husband Joseph of AZ, Mary Comei and her husband Michael of Methuen; her son, Richard Centola and his wife Anita of PA; her brother, John Martini and his wife Nancy of Woburn; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren, six great-great- grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann was pre-deceased by her daughter, Shirley Rhodes; and her siblings, Josephine Colucci, Ralph Martini, Dorothy DeLaria, Joseph Martini, and Evelyn Corby.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 4:00-7:00PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Peasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM in St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Burial will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM, in St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown, MA.
