Lynn E. LaFerla

Lynn E. LaFerla, 65, of Methuen passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at her home.  She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Gladys (Valiquette) LaFerla.

Raised in Saugus, Lynn was a graduate of Saugus High School. She also worked for many years at the Internal Revenue Service.

Lynn was an active member of the Universalist Unitarian Church of Haverhill.  She loved her church and devoted countless hours volunteering and helping others. She was also a talented artist and a loving “Grammy” to her two grandchildren.

Lynn was predeceased by her daughter, Claire Krupica.

She is survived by her son, Nicholas Krupica and his wife, Xochitl of Lowell; brothers, John Laferla, M.D. and his wife, Susan of Maryland and Lawrence Laferla of Japan; sisters, Carol Duane and her husband, David of Chelmsford and Barbara Hayes and her husband, Peter of Methuen; several nephews and nieces; grandchildren, Zoey and Zachary.

Memorial services will be held at the Universalist Unitarian Church of Haverhill, 15 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill, MA at 1:00 pm on December 16, 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
