Tribute

Lucille L. (Quinn) DiZoglio, 92, of Salem NH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2023, surrounded by love. She was born in Lawrence, MA and was the daughter of the late Blanche Anita (Descheneau) (Quinn) Picard and Aldege Quinn. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alfred John DiZoglio.

Lucille attended St. Anne’s Grammar School and was a member of the last graduating class of St. Theresa all girl high school in 1948. Lucille and Alfred were married at St. Anne Church in 1950 and spent almost 64 wonderful years together before Alfred’s passing in 2014. They had a beautiful marriage together as owners of Modern Painting Service and many real estate ventures such as the Clover Hill Apartments in Lawrence for which Lucille managed and recorded all business transactions. After their retirement, they split their time between Florida and Methuen.

Family was extremely important to Lucille and she treasured her times at home with her children and grandchildren. An avid knitter, reader, and cook, she cherished Sunday dinners and made beautiful knitted baby outfits for friends and family. Since 2014, she has been a resident at Greystone Farms in Salem, NH. The family is so grateful to the Greystone Community for all the love and friendship that Lucille received under their care.

Lucille was a four-generation matriarch of a large loving family that includes her son, Dennis A. DiZoglio and his wife, Barbara of Methuen; and her daughters, Maryellen DeMarco and her husband Jim, also of Methuen, and Lisa Fiorentino and her husband Joe of Groton. Lucille was incredibly proud of her seven grandchildren, Sara Bither, Rebecca Oldham, Lauren Gianino, Amanda Roberge, Cathryn O’Neil, and Brianna and Joshua Fiorentino. She also leaves behind nine great-grandchildren, Emily, Abigail and Scotty Bither, Jack, Ryan and MacKenzie Oldham, Emma and Mikey Gianino and Charlotte Roberge. She was predeceased by her sisters, Claire (Marcoux) Martin and Marcelle Cooper and her brother Roland Quinn. Her extended family includes many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Nancy (Brooks) Quinn from Rising Sun, MD.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 4:00-8:00PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel-St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street, Methuen. Entombment will follow at St. Mary–Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Lawrence.
