Louise I. (Grasso) Traficante, 84, of Methuen passed away on August 26, 2018 at Cedar View Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Methuen. Born on December 20, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Spaziano) Grasso.
Raised in Lawrence, Louise was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She was employed as a hairdresser in a salon before eventually running the business from home. Louise’s most treasured moments were times spent with her children and later her grandchildren. She also loved to cook large meals most especially making her meatballs for her family, rides on the shore, and binging on TV shows, which mostly consisted of QVC. Louise was a loving, compassionate, kind woman who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Louise leaves her cherished husband, Joseph A. Traficante of Methuen; daughters, Donna-Marie Traficante of Chelmsford and Dina-Marie Traficante of Maine; son, Joseph Traficante of Milford, NH; adored sister, Kitty Garside of Methuen; grandchildren, Collin James, Devan Christopher, and Willow Elizabeth. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 31st at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in St. Mary – Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Lawrence.
