I realize this is late and don't no it this is who I think it may be or a family member. I served with a Kimeic in the army around 1962 -63 at Fort Belvour, Va. I would appreciate a reply if this is the same family as the person that I served with.

Sorry to read of the loss of another 1957 Central Catholic High School graduate. Carol and I send our deepest sympathy to Lou's family. Great to read of his many good works in the greater Lawrence community. James Kevin Lavin CCHS '57, Charlottesville, VA

Dear Family of Louis (although, when I spoke with him about 5 weeks ago, he told me he was Lou, his father was Louis), I am saddened to learn of the loss of this kind and generous gentleman. We shared many reminisces of his Grandfather, Martin Kmiec, who lived next door to my Grammy Dziadosz and me in our Sutton Mill company house on Riverview Street. Lou offered good advice and knowledge that I needed regarding our property. Another great memory ...the many Sunday Masses at which I would greet him at St. Patrick Church in Lawrence. Soar with the angels, dear man, in the company of your departed family and friends. God bless you and your family, always.

We fondly remember the more than 20 years that we rented office space from Lou at Countryside Offices. Not only was Lou our kindly landlord but he was more importantly our friend. We could always count on Lou to warmly greet us and to ask how things were going in our lives and in our business. Unfortunately we are going to be out of town on Wednesday and not able to attend his service.

Dear Linda,
So sorry to read about Louis's passing. He was a good friend and a dear man always a smile on his face. He will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Sorry we will not be able to come bye in person, working 6 to 2:30. Please accept our deepest sympathy and condolences.

Respectfully,

Paul and Mark

BEST UNCLE EVER!
As little kids, he always made us laugh, and gave us all Indian names. Chief, Laughing face and Dripping Diapers (sorry Cheryl). He always made time for us. You taught us how to ski, let us ride in your holiday floats, took us to the Jaycees winter carnivals and set up ping pong tournaments at your office on holidays.
We helped you clean some of your properties, but to us, it was not work- we were so happy we were spending time with you. I hope I can leave the incredible memories for someone else that you've gifted me. Holidays and life just won't be the same without you. Love you always, Gail
PS....so sorry I didn't let you win the last game of 45's we played :'(
