Lorraine Teresa (Suzor) Radie, 82 of Salem, NH passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at High Pointe House in Haverhill. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Rose (Lemieux) Suzor.
Lorraine was raised in Lawrence and attended St Anne’s School. Prior to raising her four children, she worked at Western Electric.
She was a loving wife, mother, “Grammy” sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed making crafts and jewelry for her family and friends. She recently made bracelets to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
Lorraine had a way of making everyone laugh with her “Lorraine-isms.”
The family would like to thank the staff at High Pointe House for their incredible kindness and care.
Lorraine was recently predeceased by her husband last August, Robert A. Radie. She was also predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Mikelonis, her sister-in-law, Barbara Radie, and her beloved friend, Andrea Sinco.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Kathy Radie-Keane, MD and her husband Timothy of Mansfield, MA (grandchildren Maeghan, Jessica), Donna Gendreau and her husband Kevin of Newburyport, MA (Cristina, Cassandra, Ashley), Robert Radie and his wife Shiree of West Chester, PA (Sarah, Melissa, Lauren, Anna, Paige), and Michelle Radie-Coffin, Esq. and her husband Gary of Concord, NH (Julia, Alex, Charlie, Sam, Eliana.)
She is also survived by her brothers Joseph (Leo) Suzor of Andover, MA, Gerard Suzor and his wife Ann of Ogunquit, ME, Ronald and his wife Karen of Harmony, ME, Elaine Suzor of Hampden, ME and her brother-in-law, Michael Mikelonis (husband of Jeannette) as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 8:30-10:30 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 17, 2018 at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the High Pointe House, 360 North Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01830.
