Linda M. Pyles

Linda M. (Picone) Pyles, 70, of Salem, NH, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. She was the wife of David J. Pyles, Sr., with whom she shared fifty wonderful years in marriage.

Born in Brookline, MA, the daughter of the late Pietro and Philomena (Tucci) Picone, Linda was raised and educated in Lawrence, MA, and graduated from Lawrence High School, class of 1969. She attended Bryant-McIntosh Business College and worked as a secretary for Prudential Insurance Company for several years.

Linda first was introduced to David in 1969 and were married and settled in Salem, NH in 1970. Though she found great pleasure spending time at Salisbury Beach, on occasion enjoying the local lobster and ice cream, Linda also enjoyed photography and playing board games with anyone who wanted to challenge her. In spite of those many memories created, none were more important to her that family. Her life centered on her husband and children and all events that included them. She especially enjoyed the holidays when the entire family would get together and share a great meal and many stories.

In addition to her husband David, Linda is survived by her children, David J. Pyles, Jr. and his wife Soo, Phyllis McCarthy and her husband Bill of Hudson, NH, and Lynnann Pyles of Salem, NH; brothers, Peter Picone, Frank Picone; grandchildren Luke, Sofia, David, Joshua, and Rose; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral service and interment will be held privately.
