Linda Sue Miller

Linda Sue (Blasi) Miller, 70, of Methuen, MA, peacefully passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 13, 2020. Born on June 21, 1950 in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late Louis T. Blasi and Lorraine (Connolly) Blasi.

Incredibly creative, Linda loved to paint, sew, and knit, and once owned a ceramic shop in Methuen with her husband, John, for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her long-time fur-baby, Ms. Sadie Mabel.

She returned to nursing school twice to complete both her LPN and her RN and was a passionate, long-time employee at Hannah Dustin Healthcare Center in Haverhill, where she cared for many patients and their families over her thirty-plus-year career.

Linda felt that an integral part of her job as overnight house supervisor was to bestow upon the staff the importance and meaning of being both dedicated and compassionate. Since her retirement last year, she greatly missed her work and co-workers.

Predeceased by her husband of thirty-three years, John Miller, Linda will be dearly missed and is survived by her children: Lori Miller of Methuen, and Scott Miller and his wife, Imelda, of Fitzwilliam, NH; brother, Louis Blasi, of Plum Island; sister-in-law, Lisa O’Donnell; her favorite grandchild, Tori Lynn Miller; cherished niece and nephew, Sarah Blasi and Aidan Blasi; and her aunt and uncle, Evelyn and Charlie Tracchia. She also leaves behind many close and longtime friends, Cathy Ouellette, Gemma Chasse, Melissa Niziak, Debbie Hussey, and childhood friend, Cheryl Baker.
