Krystal Evelisse Reyes

Krystal Evelisse Reyes, 33, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022. She was the daughter of Lourdes Margarita Gauthier and Timothy Alva Hope.

Born and raised in Lawrence, Krystal was a Lawrence Technical High School graduate who had a passion for sports and will be remembered for her unrelenting competitive edge. She loved to play basketball, flag football, and volleyball. She mastered her culinary skills and her career with the same passion as she did playing sports. She also loved all New England Sports Teams, her favorite being the one of the current season with favorite Celtics player, Jaylen Brown, and singer, Taylor Swift.

Family and friends were always at the center of all that motivated her. Krystal had an outgoing and charismatic personality that was the source of so many friendships, personal and professional.

In addition to her parents, Lourdes and Timothy, Krystal is survived and will be greatly missed by her siblings, Ashley Corinne Reyes and her fiancé Gilberto Luis Marquez of Lawrence, Jasmine Marie Hope of Methuen, Timothy Joseph Hope of Boxborough; step-sisters, Felicia Hope of Lawrence and Bryanna Amber Gauthier of Methuen; step-son, Alex Rivera of Lowell; aunts and uncles, Jose Reyes and Lisa Fitzgerald of Waltham, Rosa Muñoz and her husband Jose Luis Muñoz of Lawrence, Maria Reyes and her husband, Richard Marks of Haverhill, Hector Reyes of Waltham; godparents, Maria Vazquez of Florida and Ramon Reyes of Lawrence and Kenia Reyes; nieces and nephews, Anaiyah Marie Pantaleon, Jeffrey Luis Pantaleon, Arabella Lissette Ortiz, Isabell and Izaiah Cancel; cousins, Alexandra Nuñez and her husband George Nuñez, Stephanie Muñoz, Amanda Reyes, Alexis Reyes, Giselle Muñoz and her husband Aaron Blanco, Julian Reyes, Tyler Reyes, Karynna Muñoz, Derek Lavallee, Jessica Lavallee, Kaleb Nuñez, Jaxon Nuñez, Skye Reyna Beckett and Gunner Wyatt Blanco.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. Her funeral mass will take place on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption in Lawrence. She will be buried in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
