Kevin Bolduc
November 29, 1961 ~ June 25, 2019 (age 57) 57 Years Old
Kevin Bolduc, 57, of Haverhill passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence after a brief and sudden illness. He was born in Lawrence, MA and was the son of Theresa (Kostrzewa) Bolduc and the late Roland Bolduc.
Raised in Lawrence, Kevin was a graduate of Greater Lawrence Technical School in Andover, class of 1979. Kevin worked in the Greater Lawrence Sanitation District in North Andover as a mechanic for thirty-four years. His career as a mechanic translated into a hobby as well. Friends and family of Kevin would say that he spent a lot of time in his garage – and that many talks, laughs, and hugs were had there. Kevin’s other hobbies included tending his yard, cruising around in his Corvette, and playing Master Chef, cooking up delicious meals for his family.
Family is the one word that truly encompasses Kevin. He was a loving and devoted husband. He and his wife, Beth were true soulmates and best friends. Kevin and Beth always had a way of making life fun. Together, they made their home a hub and a haven for friends and family who gathered for their famous Christmas parties or could stop by just to say hello. Kevin was also a wonderful father. Leading by example, he taught his children about love, kindness, and respect by never speaking an unkind word about others. Perhaps Kevin’s greatest joy came from being a grandfather. His eyes would light up and a beautiful smile appear on his face at the sight or sound of his beloved grandchildren.
Kevin will be remembered as one of the good guys – a family man, a humble man, a kind man, and a brave man, never forgetful of his roots. Kevin enjoyed to lead a simple life, but anyone who sat in his garage would tell you that they there was always a life lesson to be learned there. It is through those lessons and through his tremendous love that Kevin’s memory will live on in those who have had the privilege of knowing him.
Kevin is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth (Barker) Bolduc of Haverhill; his loving children, Emily Walsh and her husband, Erik of Gorham, ME, Amy Torla and her partner, Glen Coletti of Salisbury, Kevin Patrick Bolduc of Haverhill, Paul Torla and his partner, Nicole Powers of Lowell, and their “fifth child,” Ryan Ricci and his wife, Danielle of Merrimac; and three grandchildren, Benjamin and Logan Walsh, and Avery Couture; and his adored three siblings, Gail Foster and her husband, Robert of Methuen, Steven Bolduc and his wife, Lori of Danville, NH, and Jeanne O’Leary of Atkinson, NH. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen on Monday, July 1, 2019, between the hours of 4:00-8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Lucy Parish located at 254 Merrimack Street in Methuen on Tuesday, July 2nd at 11:00 AM.
