Welcome to the memorial page for

Kenneth L. Coco

April 23, 1947 ~ April 17, 2017 (age 69) 69 Years Old

Kenneth Coco, 69, of Haverhill and formerly of North Andover, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on April 17, 2017 surrounded by family.

Born on April 23, 1947 to the late Nicholas Coco and Gloria Coco-Paolini, Ken was raised and educated in Lawrence, before eventually settling in North Andover, where he resided for over thirty years.

Blessed with a mechanical mind and a gift for fixing things, he opened up Ken’s Auto Repair in 1971, which he continued to own and operate in the city of Lawrence for over forty-five years. A strong believer in the value of a hard day’s work, he served thousands of loyal customers during that time, always with a friendly smile, an honest heart, and a job well done.

Ken will be remembered by those who knew him best for his patience and kindness, as well as his sharp wit and sense of humor. He had a joke and a smile ready for just about any occasion. Most of all though, he will be remembered for his great generosity. Always willing to lend a hand, no favor was too big to ask of Ken, or too small for him to lend his time to. If there was any way he could help a friend, or a loved one in need, he always did so gladly, and without hesitation.

Ken will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty-five years, Gretchen Coco; his brothers, Kevin N. Coco and Keith G. Coco and his wife Susan; sister, Kiele M. Coco-Beauregard and her husband Joseph E. Beauregard; sister-in-law, Ellen Davidson and her husband Keith. He was pre-deceased by his step-father, Joseph Paolino, and his brother, Kurt C. Coco. He was the proud father of two daughters, Shanon M. Braman and Christine A. Boucher and her husband Brian; and four step-daughters, Kerry Mader and her husband Jeffrey, Tammy Gallant and her husband Gerry, Laurie Tierney and her husband Chris, and Jamie Archung and her husband Keith. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as the countless friends and neighbors who were lucky enough to have known him over the years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.  Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.  For directions or to send condolences, please visit www.cataudellafh.com.
