Judith A. (Johnson) LaJeunesse, 71, of North Andover, MA passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Lawrence General Hospital.
Born on February 28, 1951 in Lawrence, MA, Judy was the daughter of the late William Johnson and the late Dorothy (Sutcliffe) Johnson. She grew up in Lawrence and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School.
Judy enjoyed being with her family and will be remembered as a quick witted, funny lady who was always joking and laughing. She was kind, loving, and adored by her friends, family, and especially her grandchildren.
For more than 20 years, Judy worked at Orthopedics Northeast as an office administrator and was well loved by patients as well as her coworkers.
Judy took pride in her husband’s work at the Steven’s Coolidge Estate in North Andover, where they lived and he worked for over 30 years, and they would often be found roaming the grounds, holding hands, enjoying the scenery, and appreciating the beauty of the property.
A lover of animals, Judy would often be the target of any stray kitty who happened to roam by, as they were always drawn to her soft heart and warm presence.
Judy is predeceased by her loving husband, Marcel LaJeunesse and her brothers, Ross Johnson and James Johnson.
Judy will be sadly missed by her daughter, Andrea (LaJeunesse) Gaudet and her husband Dan Gaudet of Reading, MA; grandchildren, Jacob and Danielle; sister, Linda Kiley and husband Tom Kiley of North Hampton, NH; brother Bill Johnson of Haverhill, MA; her sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Johnson and Celine LaJeunesse; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcome and other contributions can be made in Judy’s name to any animal rescue facility.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, July 12,2022, from 2:00-5:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Peasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral service will be held at 5:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private and held at a later date.
