Judith E. Duggan

Judith E. (Muehlig) Duggan, 81, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2021, at High Pointe House surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John J. Duggan. She was born on August 12, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Charlotte (Greenleaf) Muehlig.

Born in Waltham, MA, Judith was raised in Somerville, MA where she attended local schools and was a graduate of Somerville High School, class of 1958. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

An extremely hard worker, Judith spent over 30 years at Kitty’s Restaurant in North Reading, MA where she was well known. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her many flower gardens and spent time at the local craft fairs, but most of all she was an avid animal lover.

Judith is survived by her children, Steven Sordillo and his wife Joanne of Methuen, MA, Erik Sordillo and his wife Cathy of Salem, NH, Andrea Murphy and her husband Kevin of Salem, NH, and David Meech and his wife Jennifer of Douglas, MA; her eleven grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Ann Webster of Chelmsford, MA.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00AM in Forest Glade Cemetery, 470 Lowell Street, Wakefield, MA.
