Joshua A. Pitocchelli, 38, of Pelham, NH, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was born in Lawrence and attended St. Ann’s School, Derry, NH schools, Pelham, NH schools, and graduated from Harbor School in Amesbury, MA.
Like most New Englanders, Joshua loved the outdoors, whether it was to jet ski or snowboard, or to just walk the beach. He excelled in water sports and snowboarding, and he loved the ocean, which brought him solace just to sit and watch the waves. He had a need for speed and if given the chance, he and his friends would take their motorcycles for a spin. Joshua loved animals and would bring his dogs everywhere. He had a heart of gold and could make friends wherever he went. He had the uncanny ability to make even strangers laugh. His smile was contagious, and his compassion for others was always present. He was a hard worker who would take pride on doing a good job.
Joshua was predeceased by his father, Gregory Pitocchelli and his brother, Gregory Pitocchelli, Jr.; his grandparents, Drexel D. Fair, Robert, Sr. and Rose Pitocchelli, and his uncle, Drex Fair.
He is survived by his son, Neal Murphy; his mother, Roswitha “Weedy” (Fair) Norton and her husband Jeffrey of Pelham, NH; grandmother, Hannah Fair; aunts, Terry-Ann Longtin, Debbie Pitocchelli, and Roz Perea; uncles, Joseph and Robert Pitocchelli, Jr.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from 1:00-3:00PM on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM in the funeral home chapel.
As of the most recent update, we are able to offer visitation periods and funeral services in the funeral home or at a church.
·Please be mindful during visiting hours to keep your condolences brief so that others may offer theirs as well.
·Gathering in the lobby is not allowed so that we may adhere to health code mandates.
·Facemasks are required while inside the funeral home.
