Josephine T. Concemi

Josephine T. (Currao) Concemi, 73, of Haverhill, MA, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Anna (LoGiudice) Currao.
 
At a young age, Josephine came to Lawrence and attended Lawrence High School.  She worked at Grieco Brothers Clothing for many years and later retired from Raytheon. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, often playing cards while listening to Elvis. She always enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities. 
 
Josephine was predeceased by her son, Luigi Concemi and her sister, Maria D’Amico.
 
She is survived by her husband, Philip Concemi; daughters, Roseann McShan and her husband Frank of Salem, NH and Tina Concemi of Haverhill; brother, John Currao and his wife Lilliana of Methuen; and her sisters, Vincenza Currao of Methuen and Angela DiStefano and her husband Placido of FL.  She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Frank McShan, IV and Ryan McShan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, April 18, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack Street in Methuen. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
