Josephine Barbieri

Josephine (Pappalardo) Barbieri of Methuen passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen.  Born in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine (Furnari) Pappalardo.

Josephine was a graduate of Searles High School and was a lifelong resident of Methuen.  She worked as a receptionist for New England Neurological in North Andover, and was a Teacher’s Aide at Holy Rosary School for several years.  Josephine was a parishioner of St. Monica’s Church in Methuen.  She loved to cook for her family and friends.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband, G. Robert Barbieri and her siblings, Lena Coltraro, Salvatore and Joseph Pappalardo.

She is survived by her children, Dominic Barbieri (Barbara) of Andover, Roberta Barbieri of Andover, and Angelo Barbieri (Katherine) of Sandown, NH.  She also leaves five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
