Joseph Rigoli, 64, of Hathorne, formerly of Methuen, passed away on November 23, 2018 following a brief illness. Joey was born in Methuen on February 21, 1954. He was the son of the late Joseph “Sam” and Evelyn (Bruno) Rigoli.
As a young teenager, he resided at Rhinebeck Country School and reminisced fondly of his time spent with Mr. Renschelar. Recently he has been a resident at Hogan Regional Center in Hathorne for the past forty years.
He was an avid fan of Mitch Miller sing-a-long and the Three Stooges. Joe loved his trips to McDonalds and the Merrimack Valley telephone book.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister, Jo-Ann and her husband, Ronald Ouellette.
He leaves his two nephews, Evan (wife Lisa) Ouellette of Winchester, Jason Ouellette of Haverhill, and three great nieces; his aunt, Elizabeth Bruno; cousin, Michael Bruno, and good friend “Tubbs.”
He was predeceased by his aunt and uncles, Katherine and Raymond Ruggiero and Henry Bruno.
The family would like to sincerely thank the entire staff of Hogan Regional Center for their kind and compassionate care of Joe for so many years.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 8:30 – 10:30 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack Street in Methuen following the visitation hours. Interment will follow at St.-Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
