Joseph “David” Guerrera, 49, of Salem, NH passed away surrounded by his family at High Pointe House of Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill on November 13, 2017. Born in Rockville Centre, NY on May 15, 1968, he was the son of Dr. Joseph and Ann (Martin) Guerrera of Andover.

After law school, he worked at Rogers & Wells in New York City specializing in securities and antitrust law. For the last several years, he was employed as counsel for Sycamore Networks in Chelmsford.

Dave was an avid golfer, poker player, and sports fan, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his two children whom he cherished and adored. Dave touched many lives, and all who met him found him to be kind, funny, and unassuming.

He will be forever missed by his beloved wife, Ann Marie Dirsa, who gave remarkable strength to Dave and the entire family through this final year of his life. He is survived by two wonderful children, Joseph Mitchell Guerrera, 11 and Carolyn Elizabeth Guerrera, 8. Family members include his parents, Dr. Joseph and Ann Guerrera of Andover; sisters, Amy Stabile and husband Gerald of Andover, Bridget Cox of Andover, and Melissa Constable and husband, Aaron of North Andover.
