John W. Mushow

John W. Mushow, Sr., 89, a lifelong resident of Methuen passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019.  Born on September 9th, 1929, he was the son of the late Ludwig and Mary (Skop) Mushow.
 
John was a graduate of Searles High School and a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served in the Korean War. He was a lifelong member of the Sergeant Club and St. Lucy’s Parish of Methuen and worked most of his life in the shoe industry at the mills in Lawrence. John enjoyed gardening, snowmobiling, boating, playing cards, his lake house, but most of all spending time with his family. 

John lived a long and wonderful life and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. The love for his son Jack, daughter Candy, and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren will forever be cherished. 
 
John was predeceased by his loving wife whom he adored, Pauline (Belanger) Mushow, his siblings, Emil, Stella, Edna, Tessie, and Mary, his son Robert Bowman and son-in-law Albert Doughty. 
 He is survived by his children, John (Jack) Mushow, Jr.  of Webster, MA and Candy Doughty of Plaistow, NH, his 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
