John J. “Jack” Elliott, 77, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, August 7, 2020 following a long illness. He was born on December 11, 1942 to the late Francis P. Elliott and Josephine (Alianello) (Elliott) Kanan.

Raised and educated in Lawrence, he was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Jack served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. He was a self-employed sales representative. Jack was an avid golfer and was a long time member of Andover Country Club. He enjoyed playing Bocce, going to the casinos, most especially Foxwoods, and above all spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sibling, Francis P. Elliott.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Nancy (Allard) Elliott; sons, John Elliott Jr. and his wife, Kristy of Peterborough, NH and Ross Elliott and Kimberly Hobbs of No. Chelmsford; grandson, Logan Boisvert-Elliott; and step-grandchildren, Tegan and Maddox Snow; sister, Catherine Elliott of Andover. He also leaves several nieces, nephew, and extended family.

At the request of the family services will be private and are under the direction of Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice.
