John R. Clausen

John R. Clausen, 78, of Chelmsford passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Lowell General Hospital.  Born in Woburn, he was the stepson of the late Joseph Fish and son of the late Sylvia(DeVito)Fish.
 
John was born and raised in Woburn until his family moved to Malden in 1956 where he graduated from Malden High School the next year. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving with honor until his discharge in 1963. After his service he worked as a Data Processing Manager at Sweetheart Plastics in Wilmington and later worked as a System Administrator in the computer industry for many years. 

John loved hunting from a very young age and was an avid outdoorsmen spending his retirement doing what he loved to do.
 
John is survived by his children, Tracey (Clausen) Silliker and her husband, Richard of Florida and Diane Clausen of Methuen; sister Sylvia(Sandy)Nigro of South Portland, Maine; brothers, Robert P. Clausen and his wife Julia of Davenport, Florida; Joseph A. Fish and his wife Eleanor of Malden. He also leaves six grandchildren, one great-grandchild along with many nieces and nephews.
