Jocelyne Scrofano

Jocelyne (Pomerleau) Scrofano, 70, of East Hampstead, NH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Robert Scrofano.

Born in Thetford Mines, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Florian and Therese (Beaulieu) Pomerleau, Jocelyne was raised and educated in Thetford Mines.

At the age of twenty, Jocelyne moved to the United States, first settling in Lawrence, MA and soon began working, dedicating her career to Malden Mills, where she remained employed until she retired in 2015. In 1968, she first met Robert and the two were married in 1970, sharing fifty wonderful years in marriage at which time they settled in Salem, NH and raised their children. Thirty years ago, they relocated to East Hampstead following the development of the Rockingham Mall in Salem, NH. Jocelyne enjoyed shopping, always planning for the next holiday, proud of her variety of ornaments and decorations she had for each holiday. Not one to sit idle, Jocelyne always made sure their home had modern décor and took great pride in the cleanliness of their home. Always thinking ahead, she took great joy in planning the many social events hosted at their home, always happy to be surrounded by those she loved so much. Even with all of this, her husband and children were always at the center of her attention. She loved each of them and treasured the time spent with them.

In addition to her husband, Robert, Jocelyne is survived by her children, Robert Scrofano, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Merrimack, NH, Tracy Beaudoin of Sandown, NH; grandchildren, Eric Scrofano, Kyle Scrofano, Katrina Scrofano, Hunter Beaudoin, Charlotte Beaudoin, Mitchell Epstein, Katy Epstein, Julie Epstein; and one brother, Luc Pomerleau and his wife Anne of Methuen, MA. Also many nieces, nephews, and several great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation between the hours of 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2020, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 PM.
