Joanne M. Frye

Joanne M. Frye, age 69, of Lawrence, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, December 30, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Jane (Hagen) Frye.

Born and raised in Lawrence, Joanne enjoyed living her entire life in Lawrence, something of which she was very proud. As a young lady, Joanne entered into the workforce and dedicated many years of work to local hotels, working in the laundry room.

A smart and quiet person, Joanne was most often found at home, near her family, which was always so important to her. Their company and seeing to their needs was always her priority. She loved going to family dinners, get-togethers, especially spending time with family playing cards having a good time. She always welcomed any opportunity to spend time with Ylanna and Jaden, her prized grandchildren whom she loved so much. She also enjoyed playing bingo and the opportunity to travel to Foxwoods Casino from time to time.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was predeceased by her husband James Croteau; siblings, Jane Moschetto (her twin sister), Marianne Chavez, and Richard Frye.

Joanne is survived by her son, Eric Frye and his wife Elizabeth, of Methuen; grandchildren, Ylanna and Jayden; sister, Frances Nutter; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will be celebrated at 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
