Joanna C. Lombari

Joanna C. (Seria) Lombari, 87, of Methuen passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Lawrence General Hospital with her loving family by her side.  Born on Columbus Day in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni Seria and Josephine Grado Seria.

Joanna was raised and educated in Lawrence.  She worked with her family at their variety store on Common Street in Lawrence.  She also worked in area manufacturing mills and at Wang Laboratories, where she retired. Joanna enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, John J. Lombari, Sr.

Joanna is survived by her children, Joann Lombari of Bradford, Louis Lombari of New Mexico, Theresa O’Sullivan of Portsmouth, NH, and John J. Lombari, Jr., and his wife Mary Ellen D’Angelo-Lombari of Methuen; grandchildren, Michael O’Sullivan, Steven Lombari, Karen and Laura Siergiej, Tyler, Zachary, and Troy D’Angelo-Lombari and Isaac Lombari.  She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, November 1, 2019, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
