JoAnne E. Grella

JoAnne E. (Campione) Grella, 71, of Methuen, passed away at High Pointe Hospice House on Saturday, February 16, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Born and raised in Lawrence, JoAnne was one of two siblings, born to the late Attorney Joseph and Mary Campione. She was educated through Boston College where she received her Master’s degree. JoAnne was a teacher at Leonard School in Lawrence for several years, before going into the investment business with her husband Tom. Together, with their son Tom, Jr., they founded Grella Financial Services of Methuen, MA. JoAnne enjoyed reading, playing bocce, and dominos with her friends. In addition, she loved spending time at her summer home at Salisbury Beach.

JoAnne is lovingly survived by her husband, Tom Grella; her sister-in-law, Genevieve Grella of Salem, MA; sons, Thomas Grella, Jr., and his fiancé, Sharon Cutter, and Sully Grella, and his wife, Kara, all of Methuen; grandchildren, Quinn, Riochai, Matthew, Ethan, and Connor Grella; sister, Patricia Ciaramella of Lehigh Acres, Fl.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Monica’s Parish, 212 Lawrence Street in Methuen on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 9:00 AM for a funeral mass. Interment will be held in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
