Jeremi Leszek “Dziadziu” Chylinski, 71, of Plaistow, NH, passed away unexpectedly at home, in his sleep, on April 4, 2020. He was the husband of Camille (Grillo) Chylinski, with whom he shared more than fifty wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Hohenfels, Germany in a Polish displacement camp, the son of the late Irena (Karpinska) and Taduesz Chylinski, Jeremi immigrated to the United States and settled in Lawrence, MA, where he attended Public Schools and received his Bachelor of Science from Lowell Technological Institute in 1973.
Known as Dziadziu to all, Jeremi’s greatest joy in life was his children and, most especially, his grandchildren. He never missed a game or event. Those who knew him will remember him pulling up to events on his motorcycle with an American flag proudly waving. Jeremi embodied the American dream. Through hard work and perseverance, Jeremi spent most of his professional life rising in the ranks of financial services technology companies. However, his greatest fulfillment was watching the members of his family achieve success in their own right.
Jeremi was predeceased by his sister Barbara Novak.
In addition to his wife, Camille, Jeremi is survived by his children: Kristina Clark and her husband William of Bradford, MA; Jeremi Leszek Chylinski of New York, NY; Diana Chylinski of Andover, MA; grandchildren: Andrew, Alexander, Joshua, and Natalia Clark; Jeremi and James Chylinski; and Stella Hightower; siblings: Henryk Chylinski and wife Lila of Haverhill, MA; Wanda Osgood of Methuen, MA; Jadwiga Lopatto and husband Janusz of Haverhill, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, all services will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date under the direction of Cataudella Funeral Home, Methuen.
