Janet Pauline (Bergeron) Robinson of Bradford, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 with her loving family by her side. The cherished wife of Norman Arnold Robinson, she was 79 years of age.
Raised in Methuen, Janet was one of ten siblings, born to the late Napoleon Lorenzo and Rita (Gosselin) Bergeron. Janet worked for Cody Cosmetics in Lawrence for many years, then moved on to Lucent Technology working in production and as a tester, where she met the love of her life Norman. They got engaged and eight months later they were married. They settled in Groveland where she made her home and proudly raised four children.
Janet was a poet and loved writing all her life. Having been in plays throughout grammar school, Janet was also fond of the arts. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting on Thanksgiving and other holidays. She loved going to Foxwoods and Las Vegas as well. As a proud Nana, she loved spending time and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janet was a strong, generous, and caring woman, who in addition was selfless, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Sadly, in addition to her parents and her husband, Janet was pre-deceased by her brother, David Bergeron and her sister, Marie Paulette.
Janet is lovingly survived by her sons, Tim Robinson, and his wife Cheryl of Groveland, Keith Robinson, and his wife Donna of Londonderry, NH, Todd Robinson, and his wife Jill of Haverhill; daughter, Kandace Platts, and her husband Michael of Bradford; siblings, Paul Bergeron and wife Joanne, Russell Bergeron and wife Cindy, Michael Bergeron and wife Elaine, Kathleen Bragg and husband Frank, Marilyn Stevens and husband Gary, Cheri Bergeron and wife Pat, and Scott Bergeron; sisters-in-law from husband, Brenda Connolly and Ginger Demers; grandchildren, Lindsey DeZenzo and her husband Thom, Corbin Robinson, Trevor Robinson, Danielle Conroy, and her husband Christopher, Page Robichaud and her husband Troy, Maxx and Jake Robinson, Chloe “Belle” Pardales and our dog Conway, Ryan and Joshua Platts; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Shaye DeZenzo, Carson and Cora Robinson, Addison, Payton and Grayson Conroy, Myles, Olivia and Jaxon Robichaud; and also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, January 10,2019 from 4-8 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10 AM in St. James Episcopal Church, 121 Washington St., Groveland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet’s honor to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, 8901 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20889
