James Ventrillo
March 13, 1943 ~ May 10, 2020 (age 77) 77 Years Old
James Ventrillo, 77, of Methuen, MA, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, from complications of Covid-19. He was born in Methuen on March 13, 1943 to the late Pasquale and Emily (Pitochelli) Ventrillo.
He started the family business in which he drove the trucks. Family is the one word that truly encompasses James. He was a loving and devoted husband. He and his wife, Patricia, were true soul mates and best friends. James loved racing and spending as much time possible with his family, most especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He was also a wonderful father. Leading by example, he taught his children about love, kindness, and respect by never speaking an unkind word about others.
James will be remembered as one of the good guys – a humble man, a family man, a kind and brave man, never forgetful of his roots. He enjoyed living a simple life, but anyone who sat in his presence would tell you that there was always a life lesson to be learned there. It is through those lessons and tremendous love that his memory will live on in those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia (Dellechiaie) Ventrillo; children: James Ventrillo, Joey Ventrillo and his wife, Sherri, and Laine (Ventrillo) Glick and her husband, Robert; adoring grandchildren, Jamie Ventrillo and her fiancé, Ryan Maloney, Amber, Jessica, Ashley and Scott Ventrillo, Jacob, Callahan, Emily and Cody Glick; and cherished great-granddaughter, Kim Maloney.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, all services will be private with the family. Cataudella Funeral Home in Methuen is assisting the family with arrangements.
