James J. Rand,

James J. Rand, Jr., 79, of Windham NH, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 30, 2022, from a battle with cancer.

An avid musician, James had a passion for music, especially Jazz and the Blues. He was active in the local Musician’s Association for 40 years. He also enjoyed woodworking, football, and spending time flying kites with his family. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus Council 0442 and Assembly 0641.

James is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Louise Rand; his son, David and his wife, Karen and their daughter, Bella; and his son, Christopher and his wife, Michelle and their two children, Elizabeth and Sabrina; as well as his sister, Jay Malone.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visiting hour on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen, MA. His funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
