James Laschi

James Laschi, 67, peacefully passed away on May 11, 2023, in Clearwater, FL, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 24, 1956 in Winchester, MA, he was the son to the late Basil and Shirley Laschi.
 
James graduated from Reading Memorial High School in 1974. He later owned and operated Laschis Garden Center, a successful family business in Methuen for the last 30 years.  He was very well known throughout the industry and enjoyed supplying Methuen and local towns with beautiful, high quality flowers he grew along with his son, James, his wife, Wendy, his daughter, Angela, and his granddaughters, Kimberly and Stephanie were also very proud to work along his side. 

In his free time, James liked to fish, camp, ride his motorcycle with his wife, and most importantly, spend time with his family. He was a talented guitarist who enjoyed jamming with his friends, and loved to watch and play ice hockey and street hockey.
 
James will be deeply missed and is survived by his wife of 47 wonderful years, Wendy (Serrentino) Laschi; his son, James Laschi, Jr. and his wife Brigette; his daughters, Angela Laschi and Kristine Laschi; grandchildren, Jason, Kimberly, Stephanie, Emilie, Mackenzie, and Michael James; as well as his siblings, Marty Laschi, Lea Haas and her husband Jeff Haas, and Jennifer Harmon. James is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews who love him dearly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM.
