Jacqueline Larocque

Jacqueline (Gendron) Larocque, 89, of Methuen passed away on September 18, 2018 at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen. She was born on July 19, 1929 in Trois-Rivieres, Canada, the daughter of the late Rodolphe and Marguerite (Gingrass) Gendron.

Jacqueline was raised in Canada before settling in Lawrence in 1958. She was a homemaker tending to all of her family’s needs. She was a devout parishioner of St. Monica Church in Methuen, where she attended regularly. Her most treasured moments were times spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to cook large meals for her family, listen to music, garden her flowers, take frequent visits to Canada to see her family and enjoyed taking care of everyone else. Jacqueline was a loving, compassionate, kind woman who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Larocque; siblings, Phillias, Alma, Emileim, Cecile, Jean D’Arc, and Andre.

She leaves her cherished children, Norman Larocque of Warner, NH, Suzanne Nault and her husband, Aurelien of Methuen, Claire Fafard and her husband, Bertrand of Methuen, and Michel Larocque and his wife, Mary of Methuen; siblings, Gemma Bergeron, Marielle Gendron, Nicole Cormier, Gisele Boutin, Leo Gendron, all of Canada; grandchildren, Kevin, Christine, Helen, Gary, Tina, Norman, Keith, Dennis, Jerry, James, Robine, Amy, Heather, and Nicole; and 21 great-grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. A funeral mass will be held Monday, September 24th at 11:00 AM at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence St, Methuen. Burial to follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
