Ilva Cozzone

Ilva (Vacca) Cozzone, 89, of Keller, TX, formerly of Salem, NH, passed away February 10, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Presenzano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Carmela (Calderone) Cozzone.

Mrs. Cozzone immigrated to the United States in 1972. She worked for many years at Grieco Brothers as a seamstress.

She and her husband came to America with little, worked hard and lived the American dream. Education was very important to her and she made sure that her children went to college. She was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and loved spending time with them and cooking for them.

Mrs. Cozzone was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonardo Cozzone.

She is survived by her children, Sergio Cozzone and his wife Sivana of Salem, NH and Maria Sewing and her husband Clifford of Colleyville, TX. She also leaves five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, February 16, 2020, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, February 17, 2020, at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Lawrence. Entombment will be in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
