Henrietta (Busta) Bryant, 92, of Methuen passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 24, 2018 following pneumonia and complications from heart disease.
Henrietta was born on January 4, 1926 to the late John and Albina (Baran) Busta. She graduated from Tenney High School where she was Valedictorian of her class. She was employed at AT&T and Western Electric and retired after thirty-seven years as a quality control manager. Henrietta was an avid reader and loved to take scenic rides with her late husband, Thomas. During her earlier years, she enjoyed skiing and weekly trips to Plum Island and yearly vacations to visit her husband’s relatives in South Carolina. She also enjoyed family vacations to Newfound Lake. But most of all, Henrietta was the happiest when surrounded by her family. There was no greater joy than being on the sidelines of her grandchildren and later great-grandchildren’s events.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas R. Bryant, Jr.; siblings, Albina and Eddie.
Henrietta is survived by her son, Thomas R. Bryant, III and his companion, Connie Sonn of Meredith, NH; granddaughters, Mary Bryant of Methuen and Elizabeth Bryant of Salem, NH; seven great-grandchildren, Kayla, Brendan, Johnny, Maddie, Kenzie, Jocelyn, and Josiah; brother, Raymond Busta and his wife, Helen of Atkinson, NH; sister, Anna Kudzia of Methuen; as well many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 8:30-10:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
