Hazel (Arleque) Perry, 88, of Methuen passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Methuen and was the daughter of the late Armand and Ruth (Slingsby) Arleque.
Hazel was raised and educated in Methuen. She worked at several local companies and at the Pleasant Valley Day Care before retiring. Besides raising six children, she enjoyed baking, making quilts for family and friends, trips to Foxwoods, and weekends at Salisbury Beach with her family.
The family would also like to thank Huhgette Sott for the love and care she gave to their mother.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Henry Perry.
Hazel is survived by her children, Dennis Perry and Judith Levesque both of Methuen, David Perry and his wife Barbara of Salem, NH, Donald Levesque and his wife Susan of Andover, Sharon and Christine Levesque both of Lawrence; and her sister, Ruth Ann Lawn of Salem, NH. She also leaves several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will follow at the conclusion of visiting hours at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
