Guy Labrie

Guy Labrie, of Lawrence passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, at Lawrence General Hospital, surrounded by his family. Born in Packington, Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Eugene and Aurore (Malenfant) Labrie.

Raised and educated in Canada, Guy came to Lawrence in 1964. He worked as a self-employed carpenter all of his working career. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #67 and was a 4th Degree Knight. He was also a past president of the Canadian Association and a member of the Angels of Mercy. He enjoyed gardening and kept his yard and property meticulous.

Guy was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marie-Paule (Pelletier) Labrie and his brother, Benoit Labrie. He is survived by his children, France Michaud and her husband Serge of Hudson, NH, Claire Labrie and her wife Sandy of Bedford, NH, and Louise Dupuis and her husband Pierre of Ohio; brother, Jean-Louis Labrie and his wife Ginette of Canada; sisters, Gisele Dube of Missouri, Marielle Bergeron, Jacqueline Lebel and her husband Jean-Guy all of Canada; grandchildren, Erika Whitcomb and her husband Jason, Amy Michaud, Luc Dupuis and his wife Mckell, and Jessica Maholm and her husband Matt; great-grandchildren, Austin, Malia, Gunnar, Zayva, and Zeegan. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. in Methuen. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at St. Monica Church 212 Lawrence St. in Methuen. Entombment will be in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Lawrence.
