Grace (Carrubba) Carter, 90, of Methuen, MA, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020, at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (Messina) Carter.

Mrs. Carter was raised and educated in Lawrence. She worked as an assembler at the Wood Mills in Lawrence for many years. Nothing gave her greater joy than cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed being active and spending as much time possible with her family, most especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty-eight years, Clarence Carter; and sister, Frances Carrubba.

Grace is survived by her three sons, William Carter and his wife, Rebecca, James Carter, and David Carter. In addition, she also leaves behind six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, from 4:00–8:00 PM at the Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Saint Joseph Melkite Church, 241 Hampshire Street in Lawrence. Burial will follow in the United Lebanese Cemetery in Lawrence.
