Gerard Lebel, 86, of Methuen, MA, passed away on October 26, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 30, 1935, he was the son to the late Theophile and Flore (Valcourt) Lebel. He was predeceased by his wife Noelline (Pinet) Lebel in 2014 to whom he shared 56 years of marriage.
He lived a very simple life, but Gerard was a hard working man. He and his wife came to the United States from Canada in 1962 to provide a better life for their family. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and camping with his wife and children.
Gerard was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A family oriented man, his family was the center of his life and he was always there for all of them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Micheline Bemis and her husband Timothy of Ocala, FL, Sylvain Lebel and his wife Christine of Pelham, NH, Suzanne Budlong and her husband Larry of Methuen, Steve Lebel and his wife Cynthia of Pelham, NH; his 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard, Andre and Marc Aurele Lebel; his sisters, Georgette Dumas and Gisele Bechard.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 PM. Burial will be private at a later date.
