Tribute

Gerald J. DeLotto (Butch), 81, of Methuen passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Holy Family Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Lawrence, he was predeceased by his late parents, Natalie and Florence DeLotto, and siblings, Eileen Baggetta and Robert DeLotto.

Educated in Lawrence schools, Gerald served in the National Guard for nine years, worked at Service Wood Heel in Lawrence for many years, and retired from Raytheon in Andover. He loved to fish and hunt with his son, Anthony, by his side and enjoyed a good game of 45s.

He leaves his loving wife of fifty-two years, Carole R. (Bellanti) DeLotto; son, Anthony and his wife, Cheryl DeLotto; daughter, Deborah and her husband, Patrick Francis; grandchildren, Madalyn and Addison DeLotto, Jonathan Tahany, and Ryan and Hannah Francis, whom were his life. He also leaves his caring sister-in-law, Pat Barcellona and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 4:00-8:00pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will be celebrated at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
