George F. Borucki

George F. Borucki, 79, of Laconia, NH, passed away on March 30, 2021, at Naples Community Hospital in Naples, FL, surrounded by his loving wife, Patricia (Curcio) Borucki, and his children. 

Born and raised in Methuen, MA, George was the son of the late John and Anne (Welch) Borucki. He attended Methuen Public Schools and was a graduate of Tenney High School class of 1959 where he proudly volunteered on the reunion committee. Upon graduation, he enlisted with the United States Army where he honorably served his country for eight years during the Vietnam Era. He also served as a Corporal in the Methuen Auxiliary Police Department. George worked many jobs during his lifetime including grocery manager and most recently as a foreman in the shipping and receiving department of Raytheon Corporation. Upon retiring in 2001, George fulfilled his dreams of moving to Lake Winnipesaukee and owning and captaining his own boat, while spending his winters at his home in beautiful Naples, Florida surrounded by his family and friends. 

He was the loving and devoted husband of Patricia for fifty-one wonderful years. He was a dedicated family man and loved to spend time with all of his family, especially his grandchildren. George adored his two grandchildren and loved when they visited him at the lake. A caring and considerate man, George was always concerned about others, always calling and checking in on those about whom he cared. George called his older sister, Dorothy, each and every day to say hello. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots as well as hunting, fishing, boating and camping, especially in Vermont and along the coast of Maine. George loved to go hunting and spent many weekends doing just that with his lifelong friends. One of George’s favorite things was working the grill at his annual Fourth of July cookout surrounded by family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Tammy Correia and her husband Michael, Tricia Borucki and Tracey Correia and her husband Shaun; his grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin Correia; his sister, Dorothy (Borucki) Calderone; and several nieces and nephews; as well as countless friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation between the hours 4:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Saints Mary and Joseph Parish: Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH 03079. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.  

Because George loved the color red, the family is requesting family and friends to wear something red for the services.
